Awareness Seminar on the Dangers of Drugs and Prevention Strategies at Al-Nukhba University College
As part of the national campaign to combat drug abuse launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Jameel Mousa Dhabab, Dean of Al-Nukhba University College, an awareness seminar was held on April 12, 2025.
Organized in collaboration with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit and the Quality Assurance and Continuing Education Division, the seminar aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and methods of prevention.
Assistant Lecturer Saad Nasser Jassim led the session, offering a thorough and informative presentation on the topic. The event was held in the university’s main auditorium and was attended by a number of faculty members and students, reflecting the college’s dedication to promoting student well-being and supporting national initiatives to protect youth from addiction.
