The Department of Medical Physics Sciences at Al-Nukhba University is one of the distinguished scientific departments within the College of Sciences, aiming to graduate qualified scientific professionals in the fields of medical physics, radiation applications, medical imaging, and radiotherapy. The department focuses on providing students with theoretical knowledge and advanced practical skills in the fields of biophysics, medical radiation, diagnostic imaging, medical devices, and therapeutic dosimetry, under the supervision of an experienced and specialized teaching staff in both academic and clinical fields, utilizing laboratories equipped with the latest devices and technologies.

Preparing Distinguished Scientific Professionals in Medical Physics: Providing an integrated academic program that covers all aspects of medical physics sciences, and equipping graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in medical diagnostic centers, hospitals, radiotherapy centers, and research institutions.
2. Developing Practical and Technical Skills: Providing students with advanced practical experience through training on medical imaging devices, radiotherapy equipment, and dosimetry and radiation protection systems.
3. Enhancing Applied Scientific Research: Encouraging faculty members and students to conduct applied research in the fields of medical physics, diagnostic imaging, radiotherapy, and radiation protection techniques.
