About The Department
The Department of Accounting at Al-Nukhba University is one of the fundamental and vital departments within the College of Administration and Economics, aiming to graduate scientifically and practically qualified accounting professionals capable of working in various financial institutions, companies, accounting firms, and government entities. The department focuses on providing students with theoretical knowledge and advanced practical skills in the fields of financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, tax accounting, corporate accounting, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), under the supervision of an experienced and specialized teaching staff in both academic and professional fields.

Preparing Distinguished Accounting Professionals: Providing an integrated academic program that covers all aspects of accounting, and equipping graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in accounting and auditing firms, financial companies, government entities, and non-profit organizations.
2. Developing Accounting and Analytical Skills: Providing students with advanced practical experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements, auditing, tax accounting, and using advanced accounting software.
3. Enhancing Applied Scientific Research: Encouraging faculty members and students to conduct applied research in the fields of modern accounting, international accounting standards, corporate governance, and financial anti-corruption.
4. Community Service: Contributing to providing accounting consultations to institutions and companies, and organizing workshops and seminars on accounting, auditing, and financial transparency.
