About The Department
The Department of Cybersecurity Technical Engineering at Al-Nukhba University is one of the modern and advanced engineering departments within the College of Technical Engineering, aiming to graduate scientifically and practically qualified technical engineers capable of protecting systems, networks, and data from cyber attacks and cyber threats. The department focuses on providing students with theoretical knowledge and advanced practical skills in the fields of network security, cryptography, penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, incident response, and secure cloud computing, through intensive practical training in cyber attack simulation laboratories equipped with the latest security technologies and software, under the supervision of an experienced and specialized teaching staff.

Preparing Distinguished Technical Engineers in Cybersecurity: Providing an integrated academic program that covers all aspects of cybersecurity technical engineering, and equipping graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in government and private institutions, cybersecurity companies, banks, and data centers.
2. Developing Practical and Technical Skills: Providing students with advanced practical experience through training in penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, data encryption, and managing intrusion detection and prevention systems.
3. Enhancing Applied Scientific Research and Innovation: Encouraging faculty members and students to conduct applied research in the fields of AI security, IoT security, and advanced cyber threat analysis.
