About The Department
The Department of Technical Dental Industry at Al-Nukhba University is one of the specialized departments within the College of Technical Medical Sciences, aiming to graduate scientifically and practically qualified dental technicians capable of working in dental laboratories, specialized dental centers, and hospitals. The department focuses on providing students with theoretical knowledge and advanced practical skills in the fields of designing and manufacturing crowns and bridges, orthodontic appliances, complete and partial dentures, and dental implants, in addition to using the latest materials and digital technologies in dental industry such as Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM), through intensive practical training in laboratories equipped with the latest devices and equipment, under the supervision of an experienced and specialized teaching staff.

1. Preparing Distinguished Dental Technicians: Providing an integrated academic program that covers all aspects of technical dental industry, and equipping graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in dental laboratories and specialized dental centers.
2. Developing Practical and Technical Skills: Providing students with advanced practical experience through training in designing and manufacturing crowns and bridges, orthodontic appliances, dentures, and dental implants.
3. Enhancing Applied Scientific Research: Encouraging faculty members and students to conduct applied research in the fields of new dental materials and digital manufacturing techniques in dental industry.
